Performance Nutrition

Within world-class sport it is recognised that performance nutrition will help athletes enhance muscle adaptation, recover quicker and reduce injury and illness - essential for a player performing up to 60 matches per season!

Through our experience of working with International and Premier League footballers, we know how important it is to individualise the player's training diet, to ensure tissue adaptation is optimised and that there is no macro-micronutrient insufficiency.

Under the guidance of our lead Performance Nutritionist James Collins, training diets are carefully periodised to match training, match-day and rest needs.

Acute strategies are also employed to boost immunity, reduce muscle soreness, enhance tissue regeneration during injury and optimise the player's body composition.

Think Fitness have recently welcomed Science in Sport as a performance nutrition partner, supporting our current work in the professional game.
