Like any skill, mental toughness is an attribute that can be developed through quality practise and repetition. In our experiences, talented athletes achieve a great deal of success especially at a young age without developing the mental skills required at the elite level.
Talent alone is a dangerous thing as it leads to complacency and a mental weakness when the going gets tough in later years. The majority of the Think Fitness clients have worked incredibly hard to develop their skills and recognise mental toughness is a central component of their success.
Year on year, the Think Fitnes athletes set targets that they want to achieve in their professional careers and then set about achieving them.
